After receiving a PR package from YSL Beauty, Lauryn from Regards Lauryn asked me to help her create a set of images for her own content. The shoot was focused on translating the feeling of the beauty products into soft, elevated and social-first imagery that felt natural to Lauryn’s personal style and online presence.
Turning a beauty PR moment into personal content
PR packages often arrive with a brand story already attached.
But the way that story is translated into personal content is what makes it feel authentic.
For this shoot, Lauryn asked me to photograph her with the YSL Beauty products she received through PR. The goal was not to create standard product photos, but to capture the products in a way that felt personal, elegant and easy to connect with.
Soft light, beauty details and quiet gestures became the starting point. The products were present, but never forced. They became part of a moment: refined, feminine and aligned with Lauryn’s own visual world.

When creating imagery for creators, I always look for the balance between the brand, the product and the person sharing it.
The images needed to respect the polished, luxurious feeling of YSL Beauty, while still feeling natural to Lauryn’s content. Not too staged. Not too distant. But soft, intentional and visually strong enough to support a beauty PR collaboration.
The focus was on atmosphere, texture and subtle storytelling: the glow of the skin, the shape of the product, the feeling of getting ready, the small details that make beauty content feel personal.
Social-first imagery with a refined beauty feel
These images were created with social media use in mind. They needed to feel elevated and editorial, but still approachable enough for Instagram and creator-led content.
That balance is where I love to work: creating content that feels polished without losing warmth.
